Client Description
Our client is major telecommunication player in Singapore market.

Responsibilities:

-
Provide high quality presales technical consultation and develop cost effective, resilient, innovative and reliable ICT solutions to win proposals and bids/ tender and achieve high customer satisfaction for the services rendered.

Understand customers’ networking and communications requirements.
-
Provide high quality network design for customers’ WAN network.
-
Perform role of overall solution architect integrating network solutions and managed ICT services.
-
Ensure ICT solutions proposed by partners meets customer requirements.
-
Constantly review customers’ network and proactively propose improvements to enhance network performance and achieve network optimisation.
-
Work with engineering to identify resources needed in the proposals for customers.
-
Conduct presentations on proposed solutions and new technology to customers.
-
Prepare win/loss analysis for proposals / bids / tenders submitted to facilitate continuous improvement of networks designed.
-
Ensure high quality documentation and updates for customers’ network configurations and processes.
-
Develop non standard solutions in collaboration with engineering teams, vendors or business partners when the need arises.
-
Recommend and assist customers in sourcing communications equipment or any other telecommunications related services needed by the customers from time to time.

Support project manager and partners for WAN network project implementations.
-
Support operations and service managers in post sales queries when required.
-
Perform any other duties as assigned and required.
 

Requirements:

-
Degree in Telecommunications/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Science or equivalent qualifications with at least 2 years of experience in a technical position in the Communications / Network or Information Technology related industry.

CCNA certification would be required. CCNP / CCIP certification is preferable.

Knowledge in telecommunications technology and services such as Wireless Technology such as 3G, wimax, wireless, IP, VoiP, Internet, ISDN, networking equipment, video transmission, LAN/WAN technologies etc. Knowledge of SingTel infrastructure and services will be an advantage.

Knowledge in IT such as messaging and collaboration, security, servers, backup solutions will be an advantage. ITIL certification is desirable.

Able to work independently and communicate effectively with customers, peers and fellow colleagues within the organisation.

Possess good customer handling skills.
