Responsibilities:
-
To actively manage capacity and continuously upgrade and
refresh knowledge in networking technologies in networking technologies.

To manage the expenditures for the network.
-
To be familiar with the Partners with which SingTel work
with, and to be responsible for attaining a win-win Partnership arrangement
through good technical negotiation and implementation.
-
To have good working knowledge of networking technologies,
in particular IP and MPLS. Knowledge base must include IP routing, MPLS related
technologies; and other layer 1 and 2 networking technologies like TDM and
ATM.

To be able to translate product requirements into sound
engineering design.
-
To have a good understanding of the submarine cable
resources available to SingTel so as to design a resilient network.
-
To manage the capital and operational expenses for
ConnectPlus IPVPN.
-
To manage and provide regular updates on the implementation
of projects assigned, including POPs, Partner NNI, and new Product
enhancements.

To maintain good documentation for the various Project
rollouts, including network information, partner information, and product
technical service description.
Requirements:
-
Degree in Telecommunications / Engineering or
equivalent.
-
At least 2 years hands-on experience in designing and
building large scale IP networks; and working knowledge of IP routing protocols
like OSPF, BGP and MPLS.

Possess experience and competency in IP network &
systems, including ICT technology & development, project planning,
development & management.

Candidates with professional certification (eg. CCNA, CCNP,
etc) will be an added advantage.

Possess good communication and interpersonal, project
management and presentation skills.

Possess a proactive and positive attitude.
