Our client, a leading US Multinational company, seeks a HR Manager for their Malaysian operation located in Penang. The HR Manager shall execute their HR strategies, programs, policies, practices and recruitment.

Job Responsibilities:

-	Negotiate complex challenges, driving HR solutions that benefit the company at large.
-	Effectively interpret policies to help organizations operate effectively within guidelines.
-	Participates with other senior managers to establish corporate strategic plans and objectives.
-	Executes against team plans and looks for ways to improve productivity as well as profitability.
-	Develop a constructive approach during times of change, growth or/and uncertainty.
-	Handles controversial situations, be an effective bridge to senior management and staff.
-	Helps business understand and execute against function as well as team goals.
-	Provides plans, program management and guidance on requirements for delivery of various Organization/Talent initiatives.
-	Coordinate/execute special growth initiatives, particularly on staffing and learning development.
-	Monitors and adjusts HR resource plans.
-	Hosts HRM as one "community of practice" and champion proactive HR initiatives relevant to business growth and talent retention; shares info and best practices.

Required Skills / Experience:

-	Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
-	Strong Business Acumen and ability to translate business objectives into HR/Organization/People strategies and initiatives.
-	A relationship builder with good sense of judgment and system focused.
-	Proven success in identifying and driving HR solutions aligned to business strategy.
-	Ability to influence business leaders individually and collectively.
-	Partners collaboratively with various internal peers to deliver effective HR solutions.
-	Good communication skills in English, Chinese and Bahasa Melayu.
-	Able to negotiate, influence and resolve controversial, high-impact human resources issues.
