Our client, a leading US Multinational company, seeks a HR Manager for their Malaysian operation located in Penang. The HR Manager shall execute their HR strategies, programs, policies, practices and recruitment.

Job Responsibilities:

-	Lead and manage a team of (Database Administrator) DBAs across multiple databases
-	Be a leading change agent with global responsibilities, remodeling the database solutions for strategic competitive advantage
-	Participate and engage in top level discussions by being a subject matter expert in database system
-	Manage all support escalations for database systems globally
-	APAC responsibility for all operations related to DBA function
-	Be a strategic lead for global database system roadmap and work out tactical planning
-	Lead and manage a team of (Database Administrator) DBAs across multiple databases

-	Participate and engage in top level discussions by being a subject matter expert in database system

Required Skills / Experience:

-	Degree holder in a technical discipline is preferred
-	Minimum of 18 years relevant experience in DBA roles and at least 8 years experience managing diverse team
-	Strong relevant experience working in major financial institutions preferred
-	Excellent and comprehensive working experience, especially in large scale, complex, high availability and secured environment
-	Superior technology industry and market awareness, particularly new technology and trends
-	Ability to manage, engage and negotiate with top tier technology vendors
-	Strong knowledge of top tier databases including MSSQL, Oracle, Sybase
-	"Large scale" Project Management skill with proven ability to meet very tight timeline
